I tend to agree with Kevin.  If you want lightweight ajaxy stuff use Mochi, otherwise go with Dojo...</description>

		<description>MochiKit and Dojo are both well-designed libraries that don't mess with Object.prototype. MochiKit is particularly attractive to Python programmers, because it includes a number of functions that you're used to from Python. Also, the next version (1.3) will include a port of Script.aculo.us among a number of other great features, so MochiKit is pretty full-featured.

Dojo does many different things as well. The main gripe I have is that you have to use "fully qualified" names for everything. dojo.foo.bar() rather than just bar(), which would work for most cases. Otherwise, Dojo is a very solid choice as well.</description>
